Palworld is an action-adventure crafting survival game developed and published by Japanese developer Pocket Pair. Pocket Pair is a small company but is pretty good at “combining” things. The game is set in an open world populated by animal-like creatures called "Pals". Players can fight and capture Pals, and use them to build bases and fight. You can find many familiar elements that remind you of other games, such as Ark and Pokémon. It was announced in 2021 and launched in Early Access in January 2024 on Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game's comedic premise of using guns and equipping your best friends with them has earned it the nickname "Pokémon with Guns."
